In 2002, Christy began the journey to entrepreneurship, launching her private career coaching practice. Christy earned her Professional Certified Career Coach and Certified Interview Coach designation from Career Coach Institute. She has been a member of the International Coach Federation, Coachville, Parachute Associates and numerous local business networking groups.Christy’s Master’s degree in Industrial Relations from the University of Wisconsin – Madison and her Bachelor’s in Industrial Relations from Rockhurst University in Kansas City, Missouri, paved the way for her entry into the corporate world of Human Resources, Training & Development. During her Junior Year, she attended the Institute for American Universities in Aix-en-Provence, France.Throughout her career, Christy has advised managers, professionals, college grads and students on career and management development issues. In her previous role as Manager, Professional Development for new college hires, Christy gained extensive experience working with new college graduates to accelerate their assimilation and success in the workplace. During her career, Christy has been asked to join national and international corporate teams. Thus, she will skillfully help clients build their network whether around the corner, or around the world.

Dynamic Certified Career Coach, Christy Seawall works with everyone from new college grads through mid-career professionals to delve deep within themselves to identify their dream job and catapult their careers into high gear. Christy coaches clients to discover their passions, values, motivators and talents, and then helps them put the pieces of the puzzle together into a career focus. After clearly identifying their job target(s), Christy works with clients to accelerate their job search by developing and implementing an action plan to achieve their ideal career. She then works with them to build an effective resume that highlights their accomplishments, draft a marketing/networking plan, enhance their interviewing skills, and finally build their confidence to negotiate the best compensation package. Using active, empathetic listening skills, she helps clients discover their true potential. Christy blends her passion and enthusiasm with professionalism and knowledge of the corporate world, helping clients create the life and career they desire.

Christy envisions a society in which TGIF refers to “Thank God It’s Fulfilling” versus “Thank God It’s Friday”! Her mission is to inspire others to take control of their careers so they can achieve more meaningful, fulfilling and balanced lives. Throughout the coaching process, Christy is at the client’s side to help them maintain focus and build momentum.
