Brett’s coaching philosophy emphasizes developing insight, clarity, and focus in order to achieve powerful objectives more efficiently with less effort. Brett’s scholarly interests concern the study of the psychological and neurological qualities of gifted performers and evidence-based techniques for overcoming internal and external barriers to success.
A law professor and professional executive coach, Brett has served as an Army officer, practiced law as a licensed attorney, managed large-scale operations for a Fortune 250 corporation, and started and managed several successful businesses. Brett received his executive coach training from the highly respected graduate program in Executive and Professional Coaching at the University of Texas, which is accredited by the International Coach Federation. Brett is a graduate of Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University and is a licensed pilot. He earned his Juris Doctor degree with high honors from Florida State University, where he served on the Law Review and the Journal of Environmental and Land Use Law. He is qualified to administer and interpret numerous assessment instruments, including the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator and the Conflict Dynamics Profile.
