Beryl Greenberg’s experience in career coaching was developed over the past 14 years, as she built a successful recruiting practice placing individuals in jobs with advertising and promotional marketing agencies as well as within companies in advertising/marketing roles. Beryl developed a stellar reputation for strong relationship-building with both candidates and clients through her ability to successfully listen, coach and advise in an honest, empathetic and ethical way. Through her dedication to finding the right “fit” for candidates, Beryl was very successful in identifying alternative career options for marketing professionals, for example:
- Introduced a Marketing Director from a large banking institution to a small, entrepreneurial, creative marketing agency at an Account Director level. This individual was so successful, he eventually ran the agency!
- Helped a former business owner move into a Senior Director role within a major consumer packaged goods company.
- Moved a successful marketing consultant into a training and development role to help achieve the work/life balance she desired.
- Encouraged a happily-employed Account Planner to consider joining a creative, entrepreneurial ideation firm. This position doubled her income and made her happier than she could have ever imagined!
- Guided an Account Executive to move from an event marketing company to a promotional marketing agency with longer term career potential. This individual has now progressed to a Director of Client Services for a major marketing agency.

Beryl Greenberg works with professionals to accomplish their goals in two main areas:
Identify their ideal career path: Assess current skills/interests/environments to understand their ideal situation, Investigate potential career options and ultimately choose one.
Teach them how to successfully land that ideal job: Develop their personal marketing plan, including target companies and people, how to position themselves and communication strategies, Put together resume, networking speech, cover letter, thank you letter, Teach successful networking strategies, Motivate to keep organized and on task.
Beryl develops a customized plan for each individual to help them accomplish their personal and professional goals. This can include any or all of the expertise areas mentioned above.
My Philosophy:
Beryl Greenberg believes these points are key toward a successful career transition:
Make a commitment to do it! You need to be committed to making a transition and believe in it. If you do, you will devote the energy you need to make it happen.
Take the time to know yourself. The better you know yourself, the better you can identify what motivates and interests you, and therefore, what you can be successful at. This involves understanding your likes/dislikes, identifying your skills, recognizing your values/talents, and investigating your ideal environment.
Realize that your work and personal lives are intertwined. Commit to looking at your entire life to uncover what is going to make you happiest. This involves not only what you do, but how you do it and what you are investing of yourself and those around you to accomplish your goals.
Put your new knowledge into action….develop a job search strategy and execute it! Honor the work you have done by implementing a well-thought out strategy to implement your job search. While this involves the typical tactics like a resume, cover letter, networking strategy and speech, etc., it is important that it reflects who you are and that your plan is well-crafted.
