I have an extensive background in counseling and coaching, particularly in the areas of career and life transitions. I have worked with mid-life career changers, young adults transitioning into and out of higher education, and people with disabilities. I have also been a professor in both university and community college settings. In addition to my academic roots, I have significant experience as a freelance writer and working in small businesses.
I am a member of national coaching and counseling organizations, including the International Coach Federation, American Counseling Association, and American Rehabilitation Counseling Association. I am an Associate Certified Coach through the ICF and a Certified Rehabilitation Counselor.
